Description:
The owner of Makwa Designs, Leisa Thurmer, is currently working with YFEND, Yukon First Nation Education Directorate, and the Northern Cultural Expression Society to instruct and guide students in designing and making their regalia for First Nations Graduation.
Leisa is a member in good standing with Yukon First Nation Tourism Association and sits on their advisory board.
Makwa also partners w local designers to collaborate on projects and events.
